Volunteering

Your time and skills are invaluable in helping us carry out our mission.

Donkey care requires a commitment of one morning a week 9-12. It involves cleaning of stables, picking paddocks, grooming and walking donkeys. The work can be physically challenging.

You must be 18 or over to apply.

Rehoming

By offering a safe and caring environment, you can change the life of an animal in need. We only rehome to approved & vetted homes. We only rehome in pairs or in a single to a home that already has a donkey. This enables us to break the cycle of donkeys being on their own.

As with all animal rescues we charge a fee for rehoming of our donkeys. The fee is in line with the current market value of a donkey, currently £550 for a Jenny and £500 for a Jack. We will need to carry out a suitability check of your premises. 

The rehoming fee is in place to ensure donkeys are not taken for free and sold on for a profit, and to cover a portion of the cost incurred in their rescue.

We DO NOT rehome to anywhere where donkeys will be used for profit or business purposes.
