Anna. Female. Age 20

Anna is a miniature donkey and she is 20 years old – but that doesn’t make her an old lady, rather late middle-aged!  Anna doesn’t lose her coat as quickly or efficiently as the other donkeys due to her age so she always looks like she has had a bad hair day! This doesn’t detract from her gorgeous, smiley face though.

Beautiful Anna is a sweet natured, quiet, mature and patient donkey, as she proved when she took on the Aunty role looking after Baby Gey when her Mum found her exhausting! She can still often be found babysitting her when Vivienne needs a break. Anna needs to see the dentist more frequently than the others, due to her age, so her care costs can be expensive. But we wouldn’t change her for the world.

Sponsoring Anna costs only £40 for the year, which can be paid in one payment or £4.00 a month direct debit. It’s up to you!

In return you will receive a welcome email, your downloadable Sponsorship Certificate and a digital photo of her, plus a voucher for entry to one or all of our open days here at Durham Donkey Rescue for the duration of your sponsorship, where you will get the opportunity to meet and hug Anna and her companions.
