Raindrop. Female. Age 14.
Raindrop is the daughter of Rain, and is also is Oreo’s mum. She is also a miniature donkey with the woolly gene, though her hair is not quite as long and unruly as her Mum’s! They do look remarkably alike though. She is a quiet donkey and likes people but isn’t really pushy and forthcoming, looking for attention. She does love to be groomed and is getting better at taking walks. She doesn’t like to be too far from her Mum, even though she’s a Mummy herself! She can gain weight very quickly, so we do have to monitor her closely, as rapid weight gain can be extremely dangerous for donkeys.
Sponsoring Raindrop costs only £40 for the year, which can be paid in one payment or £4.00 a month direct debit. It’s up to you!
In return you will receive a welcome email, your downloadable Sponsorship Certificate and a digital photo of her, plus a voucher for entry to one or all of our open days here at Durham Donkey Rescue for the duration of your sponsorship, where you will get the opportunity to meet and hug Raindrop and her companions.

Any surplus money accumulated through sponsorship of a particular donkey is then spread amongst the other donkeys so they all share your care!
