Baby Gey. Female. Age 1 year
Gogeyi, (Cherokee for Spring) otherwise known as Baby Gey, was born onsite on the 1st day of Spring 2023, a little Springtime surprise if nothing else, as we had no idea when we brought in her Mummy Vivienne that Gey was on her way! She is tiny, cheeky, funny and full of life – it can be exhausting just watching her! She loves visitors and everyone loves her funny ways and sweet, cheeky face.
Gey is independent, sassy, very laid back, and when she’s not tearing about the place she seems to be always asleep – literally going from one extreme to the other in seconds! She has proven to be a beautiful little gift of a donk, she adores people and loves a fuss even when sleeping! Can she get anymore adorable!
As a foal her needs are different and longer than the mature donkeys. Everything from food to vets bills will need to be paid for all her life.
Sponsoring Baby Gey costs only £40 for the year, which can be paid in one payment or £4.00 a month direct debit. It’s up to you!
In return you receive a welcome email, your downloadable Sponsorship Certificate and a digital photo of her, along with a voucher for free entry to one or all of of our open days here at Durham Donkey Rescue for the duration of your sponsorship, where you will have the opportunity to meet and hug Baby Gey and companions.

Any surplus money that is accumulated through sponsorship of a particular donkey is then spread amongst the other donkeys so they all share your care!
